Last week comedy fans everywhere were treated to yet another exciting installment of the popular HBO late night show “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver”. This week’s episode, season six episode nine, was an action-packed hour of hard hitting political commentary and rib tickling one-liners.
The show started off on a light hearted note, with a focus on The 2020 Easter Bunny. On the show, Oliver showed clips of the mysterious creature frolicking around Central Park, noted the importance of the animal’s role in the holiday celebration and discussed how people’s reactions to the bunny have evolved in recent years. From there, Oliver went on to tackle a range of bigger issues, such as the need for bail reform in the United States.
