After going through zillions of Thrillophilia reviews we were very excited about the trip to Ladakh on bike. This has been one of the long established dreams for any biking enthusiast and this time we just didn’t wanted to push it further. we were very certain that the bike trip would be filled with fun, thrill, challenges, and loads of sightseeing. The route towards the hills were covered with mud, slush, river crossings and what not. This not only posed as a trouble maker for us but also kicked the adrenaline rush to just surpass it any cost.
On the first day of the trip, we arrive at Leh as per the plan and then we met the representative from Thrillophilia who assisted us with the hotel transfer and then we were served delicious breakfast at the room. Then it was time to pick our bikes for the adventure that we had been waiting for. The first destination of the day was Leh Palace and then we visited Shanti Stupa in the evening hours. After that we went ahead with our shopping errands at the Leh Market and had some lip smacking local snacks at the cafes. Then we retuned back to the hotel and had a restful sleep.
On the next day of the trip, we started our ride to Sham Valley which is a beautiful place on the Srinagar – Leh highway. To begin the exploration tour, we started by paying homage to the martyrs of the Indo Pak war at the designated hall of fame. Our guide then took us to the Spituk Gompa which is home to a numerous relics of the past times including ancient mask, Thangkas, and Weapons. The next stop for the day was Gurudwara Pathar Sahib where we had a delicious meal at the langar and then headed over to Magnetic hill. Then next stop for the day was Indus Sangam Viewpoint where we captured the views of the confluence of Zanskar and Indus Rivers. Then we head over to SECMOL and then returned to the hotel for a restful sleep post dinner
On the third day of the tour, we prepared ourselves for the greatest experience after eating a nutritious breakfast. We got to travel through some of the highest passes in the world on this journey, and were greeted by ever-changing views of the desolate landscape. We had a stop at the cafe on Khardung-La Pass, the highest all-season motorable road in the world, and took in the scenery. After leaving Khardung-la, the terrain changed to a white sand desert as we entered the Nubra Valley. On this day of the tour, we also enjoyed a ride on the Bactian Camel and enjoyed camping with a bonfire under the night sky.
On the fourth day of the tour, we had our breakfast at the hotel and then headed over to Pangong Lake which is located on the Indo-China border area. We spent the whole day at the campsite indulged in fun filled moments and also had delicious dinner at the camp under the stars.
On the next day of the tour, we started our journey back to Leh and had a short stopover at Chang La Pass as per the Thrillphilia reviews and spent some time at the Chang La cafe to relish some delicious bites. The next destination for the day was Changla Baba temple, Druk Padma School, and Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace. At the end of the day, we headed back to the hotel for a restful sleep. We had dinner at the hotel and it is just delicious. We loved the overall ambience of the accommodation just as reviews of thrillophilia mentioned it earlier.
The time had come to return back to our native place on the day 6 of the tour. We got up early, packed our bags, and got ready for the return journey. The guides were helpful with the hotel check out formalities and they also helped to get transferred to the airport. The whole tour for our group was just amazing and we fell in love with the experience that the team of Thrillophilia presented to us at the most cost effective pricing. The transfers all through the trip was very comfortable and the driver for teh trip was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend travellers to take Leh Ladakh bike tour package from Thrillophilia for the most adventurous trip through the hills.
